What Is So Special About Quinoa Nutrition?

You probably heard about quinoa nutritional value but you're still not sure if you want to incorporate it in your diet. I grew up having rice every single day but ever since I've changed it, I know I'll never go back to white rice.

Contrary to what most people believe in, eating healthier is not costly, that is if you know what to buy. This is one of the biggest challenges why people won't live a healthy lifestyle, Yes it is true that organic food can be expensive but this one here is an exception. You only pay about $2.95 per pound and a cup of uncooked seeds can be full 3 cups when cooked so as it turns out, you are saving more money. The dietary value will definitely outweigh the cost.

This is probably the most versatile super food that I know simply because you can get it ready essentially any way you wish to and you may mix any kind of ingredient that you like (healthful ingredients of course). It won't alter nor overpower other ingredients.

It is just a healthier replacement for rice since it contains complex carbs, low in fat and it's not loaded with glucose contrary to white rice. Like what I said before, you can include anything you like including vegetables, meat and sea food. You cook and eat it exactly the same way you eat rice only you are getting much more nutritional value.

Another advantage that rice cannot equal is its protein content. It's also loaded with high quality protein and with every serving, you get about 9 grams of complete protein. Complete protein means it contains all 9 essential amino acids. So basically, you get a decent dose of carbohydrates minus the sugar. Can rice beat that?

I've constantly been a long-time believer of healthy diet and by diet I did not mean starve yourself to death. There are certain varieties of food that fills you up effectively however, they won't make you gain weight very fast exactly like what French fries do. I got rid of white rice and I swear I have never was feeling that great. Perhaps you want to know about nutritional details before you decide to actually switch to it.

With its nutritional value, it might be considered as a super grain although technically it is not a grain, the seed of the plant is related to spinach and Swiss chard. What I love most about it is the amount of protein you get.

It also provides more iron than other grains and it also contains numerous potassium, riboflavin (can help you ease migraine), vitamin B6, nicain and thiamin. It's a fantastic source of magnesium. Copper and zinc as well. Are you able to notice that all in some other grains? I really don't think so!
