The principle of "organic food" has been around for generations. Of late however, it is being more popular and has turned into quite a hype that is definitely drawing a lot of people into it. Many have mentioned that organic food also offers a better taste but that's typically just a personal preference.

Of course, as pointed out at the outset, the price of organic food can be much higher then standard food. But always remember that when purchasing on the organic market you are doing something good for yourself and for the environment so personally I feel it is a small price to pay.
